Gulf Coast Soccer is searching for a Director of Team Managers to help communicate and coordinate club events and activities with our team managers/parents can coaches. 

Gulf Coast is a full-service soccer club offering a variety of soccer programs for players of all ages, experience and ability levels. We operate and maintain a 34 acre complex with 24 soccer fields ranging in size from 3v3 to 11v11. We receive no outside funding or labor to help with the year round maintenance and improvements to the complex. To keep our registration fees as affordable as possible we count on volunteer support to offset these costs. Having a great communication pathway and dialog with our teams and parents in vital to our success. 

The Director of Team Managers is responsible for assisting the board or directors in communicating needs, activities, events, fundraising and volunteer needs to the various team managers and coaches. 

The Director of Team Managers responsibilities include: 

  • Maintain and manage a contact list of coaches and team managers for each season. 
  • Communicate with team managers, coaches and parents in a timely manner to coordinate all events, volunteer and fundraising needs.
  • Communicate feedback and needs from the teams and parents back to the board of directors.  
  • Recruit committee members in various age groups to help if needed.
  • Working with the various board members to help communicate needs and activities to teams.  

Time Commitment: Light to moderate. This position requires light time commitment most of the time, but during peak execution of the field preparation or fundraising activities (usually 2-3 weeks in the spring and fall) more time may be required. The Director of Team Managers can at their discretion recruit committee members to help during peak execution times. Position Availability: Open now. The club will be planning for fall season over the summer and should have goals and activities set by August 1, 2017. Ideally the new director will be in place by June and participate in this planning.
