About Gulf Coast Youth Soccer Club

Gulf Coast Youth Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Southeast Texas since 1981. We operate and maintain the GC Soccer Complex and support more than 1,500 players each year. We are seeking a reliable, hard‑working individual to join our team as a Full or Part‑Time Facility Maintenance staff member.

Position Overview

This role supports the year‑round upkeep of the GC Soccer Complex. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high‑quality athletic fields, and can work independently or alongside our existing maintenance team.

Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Starting Pay: $14–$16/hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Mowing and trimming grass areas
• Field marking and paint application
• Weed eating around fields, fences, and buildings
• Spreading fertilizer, weed control, seed, and ant treatment
• Goal and net installation, repair, and replacement
• Light facility repairs (bleachers, benches, fencing, signage)
• Occasional irrigation setup using portable equipment

Skills & Requirements

• Candidates should be able to operate — or be willing to learn — the following equipment:
• Riding mowers, hand mowers, and tractors
• Field‑marking paint machines
• Basic hand tools for light repairs
• Ability to lift 50‑lb bags of fertilizer or similar materials
• Background check required.
